As a working student at EOS, you can support the technical or administrative departments of an international company to get hands-on experience and drive your personal development forward. In up to 20 hours per week, you gain insights into different projects and tasks and can dive deeper into the world of additive manufacturing.

At least six months of employment (longer is welcome)

Small projects will be entrusted to you and supervised by buddies from technical departments

Get new working experiences in your 3-6 months mandatory or voluntary internship at EOS and become an expert in one of our various projects. Here, you can put your theoretical knowledge into practice and gain responsibility as well as learn more about our fascinating technology.

Full-time, 40 hours per week
Fair compensation for your contributions

If you are already at the end of your studies, then join EOS to write your practical bachelor's or master's thesis. You'll start with a short internship to get a better understanding of your research topic before the official beginning of your thesis. There, you'll help the company shape the further development of either our technology or our business processes with assistance from your EOS supervisor.

The thesis is full-time and the duration depends on examination regulations
The topic is coordinated between you, the university and EOS

If you're interested in an industrially focused doctorate and have a passion for industrial 3D Printing, then have a look at our EOS PhD Program. With a completed master’s degree, you have the possibility to work on your own research project and expand your know-how even further. With the support of your EOS supervisor, you'll be a part of shaping the future of additive manufacturing.

As a PHD@EOS, you’ll be directly employed by EOS and you’ll sign a 3-year employment contract. You’ll work on a research project relevant to EOS four days a week and you’ll be directly integrated into a team from R&D. The topic of your PhD thesis and your research question will of course be mutually coordinated. If you already have a supervising professor in mind – great! If not, we can suggest suitable contacts through our research partnerships.

When is the best moment to apply for a student job?

We offer various student positions throughout the year. Please have a look at our website for open jobs and apply about 2-3 months in advance of your preferred start.

How much will my salary be as a student?

As a working student you're getting 17€/hour. Mandatory interns or students writing their thesis at EOS will get 1000€/month. Voluntary interns will be paid according to the minimum wage in Germany (12€/hour – October 2023)

What are the requirements to work as a student at EOS?

You have to be an enrolled student in a technical, scientific, or economical course. You'll find all other (job-specific) requirements such as language, tools, experiences, etc. in the job advertisement.

Do I have to work on-site (in Krailling) or do you also offer remote solutions?

We know how important flexibility is to combine your job with your studies. Therefore, we offer various options to make sure you can make the most of your work at EOS. For some of our positions, especially the technical ones. you'll be needed on-site most of the time, but we also offer student jobs that can be done fully remotely (inside of Germany) or in a hybrid model. Please check what is stated in the job advertisement. In addition, you have flexible working hours, so you can organize your day how it suits you the best!

For how long can I work as a student at EOS?

We believe that young talents drive our company forward. That’s why we're interested in long-term employment for our students. After an initial contract, it's almost always possible to extend your contract or switch your employment type (e.g. from intern to working student).
